  • This location is beautiful year-round, but due to the harsh sun, the best time to visit is 1.5 hours before sunset.

  • It can be muddy and windy in that location. I personally love the messy look in photos as it's perfect for capturing candid shots. However, if you prefer a more put-together appearance, this location may not be the best match for you.

Neff’s Canyon

  • Spring, summer, and fall are great times to shoot here. The mountains turn green in May, adding to the beauty of the scenery. For the best lighting, consider shooting 2 hours before sunset.

  • The location is relatively easy to access, with trails available to reach different backgrounds for your photos. Keep in mind that many people hike in this area, so be prepared to have an audience during your shoot.

Ashton Garden at Thanksgiving Point

  • This location is ideal to shoot in spring, summer, and fall. Fortunately, there are many natural shades available to help soften harsh light, so you generally do not need to worry about finding the best time to shoot.

  • This location offers a variety of flowers, vegetation, and backgrounds for your shoot. Reservation and fee is required. The fee is $100 for up to 2 hours, in addition to an admission fee of $24 per adult. If you want to get around the area more easily, golf carts are available for rent.
